Raft Algorithm Overview
Leader Election
When there is no leader, servers initiate an election. A server needs a majority vote to become the leader.
Log Replication
The leader replicates log entries to all followers. Entries are committed after a majority of servers confirm.
Fault Tolerance
Even if some servers fail, as long as a majority remain healthy, the system can continue operating.
